Top Five 2/19/12

Top Five 2/19/12
Wookiee Walk
Fur might be in this season but Mulberry took it a step further.  Fur accessories and short hair coats are not enough, they say.  Go Wookiee or go home.
 Apocalypse Wear
Louise Gray's show reminded us that the end may very well possibly be near, but no worry, you can still look great.  This collection seems to be inspired by some of the great "end of world" movies of our time, such as: Tank Girl, Mad Max Road Warrior, and Water World.
Punkford Wife
Once designer for the world famous punk band, Sex Pistols, Vivienne Westwood, has always had  anarchists roots reflect in her collections.  This line is no different with a Westwood take on the Stepford Wives.
Geometry
Jonathan Saunders showed off his trademark silk technique this season with silk dresses, pants and jackets.  The designer also had printed geometric patterns on his garments that made for very clean looks.
Flower Girl
The designer claims that his tries to keep his designs traditional but at the same time cutting edge.  With this line, Marios Schwab proved it.  Using traditional dress patterns he added extra flair with untraditional fabrics and marvelous embellishments.
