Top Five 2/12/12

Top Five 2/12/12
Flock Together
The colors used in Timo Weiland's remind me of a flock of birds.  The two designers, Timo Weiland and Alan Eckstein, came out with the first runway show last year and have shown that they are not leaving any soon.
Sailor Girl
Derek Lam has brought a little spring into his fall line with muted floral patterns and pops of color.  He also shows that tomboys can still have a girly side.
Cruella DeVil
Do not mess with this chick! Apart from all the other girly-girl lines we have previously seen, Kevork Kiledjian breaks the mold and gives us one tough lady. I would not want to meet her in a dark alley.
Mary Tyler Moore
Designer Sofia Sizzi likes to make her collections fit the confident and feminine woman.  With her Giulietta line she drew inspiration from the 1970's working woman.  She's gonna make it after all. (I couldn't help it!)
Belle of the Ball
Zac Posen's collection this season is feminine and luxurious.  The gowns seem to be of a Charles James influence and are that of a couture line.  I love that glamour in fashion is making a major comeback this season.
